About the event
On Thursday, August 14th, Social Security turns 90 and we're celebrating by taking action to keep #SocialSecurityStrong. The Trump administration’s historic staffing cuts have exacerbated an existing staffing crisis; combined with chaotic and confusing policy changes, DOGE and the Trump Administration are threatening access to benefits that seniors and disabled Americans rely on. For the last ninety years, our families have received their earned Social Security benefits thanks to the SSA workers, and together we're going to ensure it's around for another ninety years.
