AB 316 is a Teamster-supported bill that would require a trained human operator in autonomous vehicles (AVs) weighing over 10,000 pounds. This bill is authored by our own Assemblywoman Cecilia Aguiar-Curry. With all the accidents being caused by autonomous vehicles it's crazy to think of a 10,000 pound truck barreling down the freeway with no driver. Please come support this common sense legislation.
